About Asia
Asia Rogers is an actress and theatre producer. An Atlanta native, Asia has had the pleasure of working with Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre, The Alliance Theatre and others. Asia earned her BA in theatre from Vassar College. Her original work, Lacunae was awarded the Molly Thacher Kazan Prize for Dramatic Arts. She is a producer for The Weird Sisters Theatre Project, a women-centred experimental theatre company. She is drawn to works that give a unique voice to the incredibly nuanced, Black experience. You can currently find Asia in the Alliance Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol.
